Green Chemistry Awareness Day is a dynamic new initiative lead by green chemistry initiative, chemistry department at GSU, dedicated to advancing sustainable practices in chemistry and showcasing the vital role of science in protecting human health and the environment. This year marks our inaugural event—launching what we envision as an inspiring annual tradition. As part of our broader programs, the event will bring together students, faculty, and community partners for a day of ideas, innovation, and action.

Together, we will explore practical ways to reduce chemical hazards, minimize waste, and drive forward a more sustainable future.

Through interactive activities, educational sessions, and guest speakers, the event showcases how chemistry can be safer, more efficient, and environmentally responsible, while encouraging the application of green chemistry principles in everyday life.
