In this study, we present an optimized one-pot synthesis as a case study to introduce the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry in a teaching setting. The work shows how sustainable practices can be integrated into existing curricula without compromising educational outcomes—and highlights the positive impact on both student learning and environmental footprint.

This research directly supports the goals of our Green Chemistry Initiative by promoting safer, more sustainable laboratory practices in undergraduate education.
