The Green Chemistry Initiative at Georgia State University has been invited to participate in the CDC Biosafety and Biosecurity Month Kickoff Event on September 29, 2026.

This special opportunity will allow us to showcase our Green Chemistry Initiative and highlight how green chemistry can contribute to laboratory safety, prevention, safer scientific practices, and sustainability.

We are especially honored to be the only invited group from outside the CDC participating in the event. This invitation represents an exciting opportunity to share GSU’s work with a broader scientific community and demonstrate how green chemistry can help advance safer and more sustainable practices in laboratories and beyond.
