🍃Green Chemistry Poster Showcase

The Green Chemistry Initiative is excited to host the Green Chemistry Poster Showcase as part of Green Chemistry Awareness Day on September 23, 2026. This showcase will feature research, educational projects, sustainability initiatives, creative science communication, and innovative ideas that promote green chemistry and environmental responsibility.

We warmly invite undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty members, student organizations, and community collaborators to participate and share their work with the university community.


🌱 About the Poster Showcase

The poster showcase is designed to:

  • Promote awareness of green chemistry and sustainability
  • Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation
  • Highlight student, faculty, and community initiatives
  • Support science communication and outreach
  • Foster networking and discussion among attendees

The showcase welcomes both research and non-research posters.


✨ Topics of Interest

We welcome a wide range of posters related to sustainability, green chemistry, environmental awareness, education, innovation, and community engagement.

Examples include:

  • Green chemistry research
  • Sustainable materials and renewable energy
  • Environmental chemistry
  • Waste reduction and recycling
  • Sustainable laboratory practices
  • Science education and outreach
  • Community engagement projects

Both completed and ongoing projects are welcome.

No prior conference presentation experience is required.


📌 Poster Categories

Posters may fall under one or more of the following categories:

Research Posters

Scientific research and laboratory-based projects related to green chemistry and sustainability.

Educational & Outreach Posters

Projects focused on sustainability education, awareness, outreach, and community engagement.

Creative & Innovation Posters

Infographic-style posters, interdisciplinary projects, sustainability concepts, and innovative ideas.


📌 Poster Presentation Information

  • Standard poster presentation format is encouraged
  • Additional setup details and poster dimensions will be shared closer to the event date
  • Presenters are encouraged to attend the designated poster session to engage with attendees and discuss their work

🏆 Awards & Recognition

Selected posters may receive recognition awards, including:

  • Best Undergraduate Poster
  • Best Graduate Poster
  • Best Outreach & Education Poster
  • People’s Choice Award

Certificates of participation may also be provided.


📅 Important Dates

  • Interest Form Opens: June 15
  • Poster Interest Submission Deadline: August 15 (We will continue to accept late submission until September 5, but late submissions may be placed at the end of the poster session lineup)
  • Green Chemistry Awareness Day: September 23, 2026
