Green Chemistry Initiative
The Green Chemistry Initiative welcomes participation from students, faculty, and staff across disciplines who are interested in sustainability, environmental impact, and innovation in chemistry and related fields.
Our activities include Green Chemistry Awareness Day, outreach programs, invited speakers, workshops, students club and collaborative research discussions. Whether you want to contribute actively or simply stay connected, there are multiple ways to get involved.
🎓 For Students
Learn, Contribute, and Showcase Your Work
Students are at the center of our initiative. We welcome participation from both undergraduate and graduate students across all disciplines.
You can get involved by:
- Presenting research or ideas at poster sessions
- Assisting with event planning and outreach
- Joining the Student club
- Attending seminars, workshops, and networking events
No prior experience in green chemistry is required—only interest and curiosity.

👩🔬 For Faculty
Collaborate, Support, and Engage
Faculty participation strengthens the impact and reach of the initiative across campus and beyond. We welcome involvement in a flexible and collaborative manner.
Faculty may choose to contribute by:
- Serving as a poster reviewer or session judge
- Participating in panels or invited talks
- Sharing opportunities with students
- Offering guidance on thematic or program development
- Supporting interdisciplinary collaboration
Engagement can be occasional or ongoing, depending on availability and interest.

Connect and Support Sustainability Efforts
We also welcome engagement from staff members and institutional partners who support sustainability initiatives and student development.

You can engage with the initiative in different ways:
- Stay Connected – watch updates and announcements
- Attend Events – join seminars, workshops, and poster sessions
- Contribute Occasionally – serve as a speaker, reviewer, or mentor
- Engage Actively – take part in planning, leadership, or collaboration
There is no single required level of involvement—participation is flexible and based on interest and availability.
